It was a night of glitz and glamour for Houston stylist Pedro Abasolo and his guests. Pedro Abasolo presented his third annual fashion show at the luxurious, J.W. Marriott in Downtown Houston. The exclusive, invitation-only event with VIP sponsors, including Dr. German Newall, left all the guests in awe of the magnificent designs showcased on the runway.
For Houston plastic surgeon, Dr. German Newall, this was his third time sponsoring the classy event. Dr. Newall sat front row and center alongside his wife and staff from The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery (ACPS). He was recognized for his expertise in the aesthetic plastic surgery field by the emcee of the event, Yuridia Gonzalez.
As the owner of Ovations Hair Studio and a local socialite, Abasolo displays this annual show as a way to express his gratitude to his clients and friends. For the 2015 show, Pedro Abasolo featured designers Chloe Dao and Bolivian designer Rosita Hurtado. In the past, he has tapped designers such as David Peck and Azhand Shokohi.
The fashion show began with a lively performance of Aztec dancers who danced to the beat of traditional music. Hurtado’s “Viva Mexico” collection had a splash of colors, with a special tribute to icons such as Frida Kahlo. On the other hand, Project Runway Season 2 Winner Chloe Dao showcased a collection that was edgy and fierce with the use of darker colors.
Dr. Newall is no stranger to the media and has made frequent appearances on red carpets, television news, radio, and shows. He is recognized for his surgical artistry and high standards of excellence in achieving transformational results in body contouring, breast enhancement, and facial rejuvenation.
