German Newall, MD
Meet Houston Plastic Surgeon
German Newall, MD
The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery, LLP, Founding Partner
“The art of plastic surgery has been my profession and livelihood, but more importantly, it is my passion. I love what I do, and it gives me great satisfaction to help others achieve their appearance goals.” – Dr. German Newall
At an early age, Dr. German Newall discovered his passion for the practice of medicine. He was born and raised in Lima, Peru, but traveled to the United States as a young man to pursue his dream of becoming a physician. After graduating from Georgetown Medical School, Dr. Newall received general surgery training in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed plastic surgery training here in Houston, Texas. He knew immediately that he wanted to make Houston his permanent home.
He has been happily married since 1988 and is the father of three wonderful children. When not performing surgery or visiting with patients, Dr. Newall enjoys precious time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also loves spending time swimming, playing tennis, and riding his Paso Peruvian horses.
“Life is a beautiful journey, and I travel it with these basic tenets: Work hard and be honest. Cherish your loved ones. Have lots of innocent fun!” – Dr. German Newall
Dr. Newall’s Philosophy on Cosmetic Surgery
“Beauty is subjective, so it is very important to have a clear understanding of my patients wants and needs.” – Dr. German Newall
Dr. Newall understands that each patient has a different view of what makes a person beautiful. By sitting down and talking with a patient in a private consultation, he is able to get an idea of what they are looking for.
“Patients usually have an idea of what they want, but they’re looking for me to tell them whether it is reasonable. I give my patients a very realistic illustration of the results they can expect,” Dr. Newall says. “I start with the simplest operation and build from there as needed to keep the expense and downtime minimal for my patient.”
